FAQ

No Confusion, Just Clear Answers

While it is not required, I would suggest doing it. Over time the factory exhaust manifold shrinks and can either crack at the collector (24v) or damage the cylinder head (12v). It is a good investment into the long term ownership of your truck.
The 57mm, Entry level, 60/67/12 and the 62/67/14 all work with a 5 bolt style exhaust brake that bolts onto the back of the turbo.
This is not a black and white answer. Every customer has different needs and desires. Please email me or reach out to me in the contact section for me to help pick a turbo that fits your needs.
Can you? Yes, is it a good fit? No. Having a turbocharger that is to large for your fueling will not help you make more power. All it will do is adjust your torque band or it can even hurt torque and horsepower. I suggest 150hp injectors at a minimum for this turbo.
Any turbo over my entry level with appropriate fueling, should have head studs. Have some clients made solid 400+whp numbers without? Yes, would I suggest rolling the dice? NO.
